Undergraduate Scholarships
In Uruguay, the Roberto Rocca Education Program awards around 8 scholarships per
year to students in their last two years of study in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical,
Electronic, Electrical Power Systems, Civil, Chemical, and Naval Engineering, at
the following universities:
- Universidad de la República
- Universidad Católica del Uruguay
- Universidad ORT Uruguay
- Universidad de Montevideo
The Scholarship is applied to the student’s tuition expenses in the private universities
and for living expenses for students at the Universidad de la República.
Eligibility requirements
Scholarships in Uruguay are open to students in their last two years of study in
the above specified majors universities, with a minimum average of 7/12 or 80% (according
to the university’s grade scale) and good English skills.
Applications
The application period for the scholarships in Uruguay generally runs each year
from September to October. More information can be found on this website approximately
one month before the start of the application period.
