10 Roberto Rocca Fellows visit Argentina.
During a three-day visit new 2008 Fellows visited Tenaris and Ternium industrial plants, presented their research projects and participated in an awards event featuring Techint Group President Paolo Rocca.

Fellows Conference Series: Javier Romero - "Texture and Anisotropy: Optimizing Processing of Zirconium Alloys for Performance in Nuclear Reactors"
Javier received his Ph.D. in Material Science at the University of Manchester, in the UK, where he also earned his Master degree in Advanced Engineering Materials. Prior to enrolling at University of Manchester he obtained his Bachelor degree in Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

Diego received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at University of Leeds, UK. Prior to enrolling at University of Leeds he obtained his Master degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University College London, and his Bachelor degree at the Universidad de los Andes, in Bogota, Colombia.

Fellows Conference Series: Judith Gomez - "Study of the Electrolytic Production of Boron in a Molten Salt"
Judith received her Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. After completing her Ph.D. she has been appointed assistant professor at CSM, where she is working at the "Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy", directed by Prof. Patrick R. Taylor.

Fellows Conference Series: Christian Canto - "Multiphase Flow Effects on CO2 Corrosion Inhibitor Film"
Christian Canto is a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering at Ohio University. Prior enrolling Ohio University, he received both his Master and Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Christian received his Roberto Rocca Fellowship in 2007.

Fellows Conference Series: Carlos Alcala - "Fault Detection and Diagnosis with Multivariate Statistical Methods"
Carlos Alcalá has been awarded with a Roberto Rocca Education Program Fellowship in 2007. Carlos is pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemical Enginnering at University of Southern California. He received his Master degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, at the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero, in Mexico.

Fellows Conference Series: Julian Hallai - "Effect of Lüders Bands on the Response and Stability of Steel Tubes under Bending"
Julian is a 2007 Roberto Rocca Education Program Fellow. He is pursuing his Ph.D in Mechanics Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, in the US. Julian received both his Master and Bachelor degrees at the University of São Paulo in Brazil.

Tatiana is studying for her Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, in the US. In March's Conference, she introduced the topic "Understanding the Role of Alternating Current on Corrosion of Pipeline Steels under Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection"
