2026 Roberto Rocca Scholarships

In Canada, the Tenaris Roberto Rocca Scholarship Program provides undergraduate scholarships to high school students from the Algoma District School Board (ADSB) and the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board (HSCDSB) who are pursuing post-secondary studies in STEM or Skilled Trades at Algoma University or Sault College, beginning in September.

Nota
The objective of the program is to recognize academic merit, encourage local talent retention, and support workforce development in Sault Ste. Marie.

General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Submit a completed application no later than 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

  • Provide a copy of their most recent transcript demonstrating a minimum cumulative average of 65%.

  • Be currently enrolled in and graduating this year from a secondary school within the Algoma District School Board or the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board.

  • Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a school official (e.g., teacher, guidance counsellor, or principal), and one from a non-family member who can speak to the applicant’s character and achievements.

  • Submit a maximum 500-word essay on the assigned topic.

  • Provide proof of acceptance to a recognized post-secondary education program.
